Bird Box Auction

‘The Long and Winding Road’ is my entry for an Arts Margaret River Fundraising Auction Event held at the Margaret River Cultural Centre Foyer Gallery on Friday 4^th December from 6.00pm – 8.30pm 2015.

A selection of birdhouses from more than 40 local artists will be available for silent auction from Monday 30^th November.

‘The Long and Winding Road’, this solid jarrah (native wood) birdhouse was crafted by the Cowaramup Men’s Shed. Over a period of 2 months, I decorated my entry with the 3 elements of gold, silver, and copper leaf gilding with an added hand-crafted Persian lustre glaze ceramic bird made by Asha Dilkes-Hoffman.
